I was impressed with the quality of the book/cover/paper considering the price. There were a couple things and questions I didn’t love, because I felt like they didn’t exactly fit our particular family/values. However, overall it was great. The only thing I really wish is that it had more questions in the parenthood section - it was only 3 or 4 pages, even though the book is specifically meant for a parent. That’s the only reason for the 4 stars. Otherwise seems great, and I’m excited to give as a gift.

I bought both this and the one for my father.
It asks really great in depth questions that I wouldnt think to ask, but would love to know, about what happened to them in their childhoods and growing up.
I have been on both of their asses about making sure that they fill it out because it is so important to me to make sure I have a living legacy of them
I cannot wait to be able to read them!! "

"I got this for my mom for Mother’s Day, she loved it and actually cried when she opened it. The journal prompts and questions are well thought. She was excited to be able to write HER story for us. Definitely recommend as a way to learn more about your mom if those kind of conversations are hard to have in your family."
